Could the Golden State Warriors go undeafeated in the postseason? That question was about to be answered in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals as they faced off against Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs built an huge, twenty-point lead in the early quarters but after losing Leonard to injury, the momentum shifted in the Warriors favor. In the final quart Kevin Durant scored 12 points, while Stephen Curry came through in the final two minutes to put the game of out reach for San Antonio. In the end, Curry tallied 40 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, while Durant finished with 34 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
The Warriors now lead the series, 1-0, with Game 2 set for Monday, May 16th at 7:00 (PT) | 9:00 (ET)
