What was thought to be a challenging series between the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs ended in a sweep. The injury bug took Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard, and David Lee out of the earlier games, which resulted in a shorthanded Spurs team. The Warriors went into game 4 with a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals and it was the Spurs last shot at continuing the series. However, right from the start the Warriors opened up with a 31 to 19 lead in the first quarter and continued to dominate throughout. Golden State lead as much as 22 points and finished the game 129 to 115. The high scorers for the Warriors were Kevin Durant and Steph Curry who scored, 29 and 36 points respectively, while Draymond Green added 16 of his own.
The Golden State Warriors now await the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals, where the Cleveland Cavaliers lead the Boston Celtics 2-1.
